2.2.5 Parallel I/O
The parallel I/O signals are accessible through a 16 pin header and a 15 pin flat cable and a 15 pin female D-

(*) On the hardware inputsbits 0..3 are connected to bits 4..7 of the input port. Driversoftware shifts those bits four
times right, thus they appear as bits 0..3 when using function m(v)fg_ppin ().
OC = open collektor of the optocouplers -
CE = common emitter of the optocouplers.
The anodes of the input LEDs are connected to a replaceble single-in-line resistor of 330 Ohms (RS3). The common
pin of the single-in-line resistor is connected to pin 4 of the 16-pin header or pin 10 of the 15pin D-connector on the
rear side.
The output opto coupler is a darlington type. The collectors are connected with a replacable single-in-line resistor
RSC (see table 1) 4.7KOhm/0.25W. See technical data of the opto-couplers and a scematic on the following pages.
The cathodes of the input-LEDs are connected to a resistor array RSA (see table 1). This resistor array is
replaceable. The common pin of the resistors is pin 5 at 15-pin D-connector.
