2.2.5.1 Example for Connecting a Light-Barrier to Input-bit 0
Input-bit 0 is designed for generating an intererrupt and is therefore used to control capture of a frame.
2.2.5.1.1 Light-Barrier with npn-Transistor
Resistor RX must be built into the connection between the light-barrier and the parallel plug.
Ist value is calculated as follows:
RX [Ω] = ((SupplyVoltage – 2) [V]/ 0.015 [A] ) – RB [Ω]
RX [Ω] ≥ 0 [Ω]
RX = 0 Ω for 5 V Supply
RX = 330 Ω / 0.25 W for 12 V Supply
RX = 1.2 kΩ / 0.25 W for 24 V Supply
